[Case Study of Ultra-High Temperature Vacuum and Atmosphere Furnace] Space-saving at hand

As a result of using a high-temperature furnace capable of reaching up to 2,000℃, impurities were removed through heat treatment, and the crystallinity of carbon nanotubes was improved.

We would like to introduce a case where Shinshu University’s Faculty of Engineering has implemented a "High-Temperature Vacuum and Atmosphere Furnace." We explored a method to enhance the crystallinity of carbon nanotubes by heating them in a vacuum to remove impurities. To carry out this heating process, it was necessary to introduce a new high-temperature furnace. After the introduction, impurities were removed through heat treatment, and we were able to achieve the initial goal of increasing the crystallinity of the carbon nanotubes. 【Case Overview】 ■ Challenges - A high-temperature furnace was needed to produce high-purity carbon nanotubes. - Carbon nanotubes can contain impurities such as metals during the production process. ■ Results - Having the equipment on-site provides the advantage of being freed from the transfer of samples and administrative procedures compared to using facilities at a different location. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Vacuum High-Temperature Furnace "MINI-VAC-NT"

It is a small vacuum furnace, but the effective internal volume is designed to be very large in a horizontal cylindrical shape.

The "MINI-VAC-NT" is a vacuum high-temperature furnace developed from our "vacuum furnace technology." It does not require special operating skills and can achieve high vacuum with a single handle. It can be used not only in high vacuum but also with inert gases, and the MINI-VAC-1 model can operate in low vacuum and oxidizing atmospheres. Additionally, the heater structure is present around and at the rear, allowing for rapid temperature rise, and the temperature distribution, as well as control, can achieve precise temperature control of 800°C ± 3°C due to P.I.D operation. 【Features】 ■ One-touch vacuum operation ■ Excellent temperature regulation and distribution ■ Versatility of atmosphere ■ Fast heating ■ Additional mechanisms can be attached ■ Large effective volume, etc. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
